In this feature, I look back at each day of the past week and determine what shows “won TV” for the night. That is, I consider every episode of television I watched that aired on a particular day and declare which was the best.

Sunday – Masters of Sex
Monday – How I Met Your Mother, still watching only one show on Monday
Tuesday – Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Wednesday – The Middle turns 100. (Honorable Mention: Mr. T calls for respect of people’s hair on Key & Peele)
Thursday – Parenthood
Friday – The Birthday Boys, bringing some competition to Comedy Bang! Bang!
Saturday – Ed Norton having a spooktacular Halloween on Saturday Night Live.
