They keep making new movies, and some of them are even worth watching. Here’s what’s at the top of the slate for January 2024:

Night Swim: A family moves into a new house, but the swimming pool is haunted. LOL. Better Call Saul‘s Kerry Condon plays the mom!

You can take a Night Swim in theaters beginning on January 5.

The Book of Clarence: The second feature film directed by Jeymes Samuel (following 2021’s The Harder They Fall), The Book of Clarence kind of looks like Life of Brian, but with LaKeith Stanfield instead of the Monty Python boys.

The Book of Clarence opens in theaters January 12.

Mean Girls: Based on a Broadway musical that was based on a movie that was inspired by a nonfiction book. Tina Fey and Tim Meadows reprise their roles from the original movie.
