Jeff “jmunney” Malone watches every new episode of Saturday Night Live and then reviews all the sketches and segments according to a “wacky” theme.

Hello, I am reporting for duty to review the tenth episode of the forty-ninth season of Saturday Night Live. For the guest lineup, we’ve got some returning friends, with Dakota Johnson hosting and Justin Timberlake as the musical guest. Since this is a reunion of sorts of The Social Network, I will take inspiration from that movie and review each sketch by paraphrasing a certain beloved line from that flick and ask, “You know what’s cool?”

AFC Championship: You know what’s cool? Having a diverse range of interests for Sundays.

Dakota Johnson’s Monologue: You know what’s cool? Seven-year-old Dakota Johnson, obviously!

Mason Family Reunion Dinner: You know what’s cool? Getting your meal comped, and having a silly little show to go along with it.

Home Movies: You know what’s cool? Letting bygones be bygones.

Barry Gibb Talk Show: You know what’s cool? The image of Don King eating another Don King.

please don’t destroy: Roast: You know what’s cool? Trusting your co-stars.

Big Dumb Cups: You know what’s cool? C-U-P puns.

Justin Timberlake ft. Tobe Nwigwe, “Sanctified”: You know what’s cool? How Tobe and his crew looked like they were wearing green, even though it might’ve just been the lighting.

Weekend Update: The Jokes: You know what’s cool? Not Michael Che’s crowd. They were running hot!
Weekend Update: Ethan: You know what’s cool? Bowen Yang running wild with a really energetic idea.
Weekend Update: Jan Janby: You know what’s cool? Heidi Gardner totally ribbing Michael Che.

Book Club: You know what’s cool? Or what would’ve been cool? If Timberlake had walked in at the end and upped the offer to a billion.

Justin Timberlake, “Selfish”: You know what’s cool? Listening to songs multiple times to figure out what we really think of them.

Lost Bag: You know what’s cool? Kenan Thompson being Devon Walker’s dad. That felt heartwarming in an intergenerational kind of way.

Fans of o’s are surely excited for the next new episode, as it will feature host Ayo Edebiri and musical guest Jennifer Lopez.
