In this feature, I look back at each day of the past week and determine what shows “won TV” for the night. That is, I consider every episode of television I watched that aired on a particular day and declare which was the best.

Sunday – Mad Men (Honorable Mention: American Dad!, thanks to a D’Angelo homage)
Monday – RuPaul’s Drag Race
Tuesday – Fargo
Wednesday – Billy on the Street (even though it established that Shakira doesn’t know about Community)
Thursday – Review, wrapping up yet another one of 2014’s excellent debut seasons
Friday – Hannibal
Saturday – Orphan Black (partially because SNL cut the latest Good Neighbor short after dress rehearsal)

Sunday – Bob’s Burgers
Monday – Rick and Morty concluded one of the best debut seasons of all time.
Tuesday – Oh yah, Fargo
Wednesday – Billy on the Street! Boom!
Thursday – Review continues to impress, but Community wrapped up Season 5 brimming with energy.
Friday – Hannibal
Saturday – I got chills finally hearing the Orphan Black theme music on my TV again.  Oh, and the actual episode was great, too.

Sunday – Bob’s Burgers
Monday – Rick and Morty
Tuesday – Inside Amy Schumer, thanks to very realistic gameplay
Wednesday – The Americans, by default, but only because I didn’t have access to Billy on the Street.
Thursday – Community
Friday – A superlative season (series?) finale of The Neighbors somehow beats out Hannibal.
Saturday – A Very Smoky Saturday Night Live. DOOOOOOOOOP.

Monday – RuPaul’s Drag Race
Tuesday – Justified
Wednesday – Arrow
Thursday – My review of the latest episode of Review: A Very Somber 5 Stars.
Friday – Raising Hope had a satisfactory series finale, but it aired the same night as a new episode of Hannibal.
Saturday – The latest Good Neighbor short on SNL, of course

Sunday – Bob’s Burgers
Monday – RuPaul’s Drag Race managed to snatch the Monday title away from Rick and Morty.
Tuesday – Brooklyn Nine-Nine wrapping up a solid first season
Wednesday – Everything I watched was solid, so I’ll spotlight Modern Family, which had its best episode in at least two years.
Thursday – Review
Friday – Hannibal (But The Neighbors was also good!)
Saturday – Louis C.K. was reliably great on SNL.

Sunday – Bob’s Burgers
Monday – Rick and Morty, with the best episode of television of 2014 so far
Tuesday – Justified
Wednesday – Billy on the Street, featuring the incredible return of Elena
Thursday – Review, with the 2nd best episode (or THE best?) of television of 2014 so far
Friday – Hannibal, of course, but I’d like to point out that Whose Line is it Anyway? is back and its CW version is really coming into its own.
Saturday – I was busy, so I didn’t have that much time to watch March Madness.

Sunday – Did the True Detective finale beat Bob’s Burgers‘ first anthology episode? Not quite. (Honorable mention to Girls guest star Felicity Jones looking great even with psoriasis.)
Monday – Rick and Morty is back.
Tuesday – Kroll Show/New Girl
Wednesday – Broad City (Although it was probably actually Billy on the Street, but I don’t have FUSE right now and BOTS is not making itself available online.)
Thursday – It is quite the recommendation that I am picking Review on the most competitive night of the week.
Friday – Hannibal
Saturday – I watched a bunch of NCAA conference tournament games, but there have been more exciting days of college basketball.

Sunday – True Detective
Monday – Archer
Tuesday – A particularly dominant performance by Arthur Chu on Jeopardy! beat out a handful of new episodes.
Wednesday – Broad City
Thursday – Community, with the season premiere of Portlandia close behind
Friday – Hannibal, obvs.
Saturday – Spotlightz! and the Bird Bible were the highlights of a so-so SNL.
