They keep making new movies, and some of them are even worth watching. Here’s what’s at the top of the slate for April 2025:
The Luckiest Man in America: In March 1984, a man named Michael Larson cracked the code of the seemingly random game show Press Your Luck. And now Paul Walter Hauser is playing him in a movie!
The Luckiest Man in America will try to strike it rich in theaters on April 4.

Mickey 17: Robert Pattinson plays Mickey, who keeps dying, but that’s okay, because they also keep making clones of him. It’s the latest from Bong Joon-ho!
They keep making new movies, and some of them are even worth watching. Here’s what’s at the top of the slate for February 2025:
Heart Eyes: A serial killer stabs couples on Valentine’s Day, but the most intriguing attraction to me is that one of the writers is Christopher “Happy Death Day” Landon.”

They keep making new movies, and some of them are even worth watching. Here’s what’s at the top of the slate for January 2025:
Better Man: It’s a biopic about “Millennium” songster Robbie Williams, but here’s the twist: he’s played by a chimpanzee! (Or some sort of chimp-man hybrid, to be more precise.)

They keep making new movies, and some of them are even worth watching. Here’s what’s at the top of the slate for October 2024:
Frankie Freako: Some rando genre indie about a little puppet dude who shows up to party and wreak havoc. This looks like the unholy love child of Gremlins, Munchies, Munchie, and the like.
Frankie Freako will get his freak on in limited theaters October 4.
They keep making new movies, and some of them are even worth watching. Here’s what’s at the top of the slate for September 2024:
Speak No Evil: I’ve seen the trailer for this about 6 million times in the past few months. It’s a remake of a Danish film that I’ve heard good things about. James McAvoy looks creepy. There’s also a mini-Halt and Catch Fire reunion.
Movie theaters will Speak No Evil on September 13.
