Onslaught is a pretty satisfying genre exercise, and there’s plenty that can be said about its blend of approaches and ideas. But mostly I just want to say: hell, yeah, Reginald VelJohnson is still alive and kicking! Who knew that Carl Winslow still had this much left in the tank? Anyone willing to think about it for just a minute, that’s who. And what a treat to see him team up with Eric Wareheim. I mean, Adria Arjona may play the lead, and she’s great and all, but for my money, this is the Reggie & Eric Show above all else.
