Would I like to live in the world proposed by Wicker, wherein lovers can be woven out of the titular material? I would have been inclined to say no. Or perhaps it might be a decent world to reside in, but I would just politely decline any wicker-based companionship offers. It’s just not the most pleasurable surface to rub against human skin! But the experiences of the Fisherwoman (and everyone else in the village, really) suggests otherwise. Hmm, I guess it’s good to be open to new experiences.
