Five! Five-Timer SNL! (CREDIT: NBC/Screenshot)

Woo-hoo! This is Woody Harrelson’s fifth time hosting Saturday Night Live. His first was all the way back on November 18, 1989. And guess what? It’s also musical guest Jack White’s fifth time! (That does include his appearance with ex-wife Meg when the White Stripes were the MG back in October 2002.) So there’s really no other option for me besides reviewing the sketches of this episode with five (5) words each!

Usually I post my list of favorite Super Bowl the night of The Big Game or the morning after. But this year, I decided to wait a few days and see what stuck with me. Because, after all, the really truly madly deeply classic commercials are the ones that you can’t get out of your head.

Jeff’s Wacky SNL Review: Pedro Pascal/Coldplay

Brr! This episode was very Chile. (CREDIT: NBC/Screenshot)

I’ve seen Pedro Pascal on my TV more than once. And now I’m seeing him again! That exclamation point is because as of February 4, 2023, he’s an SNL host. And nobody can ever take that away from him!

Coldplay’s the musical guest, but that’s nothing new.

This is the first episode of February, so to celebrate, I’m going to review each sketch according to the format “I ❤️ (something).”

Nom nom nom nom nom! That’s the sound of being hungry for new SNL. I’m never not hungry. Luckily, this weekend Michael B. Jordan and Lil Baby both made their debuts, so there was plenty of fresh comedy and music to check out.

Earlier this season, I reviewed an episode by simply transcribing the notes I wrote in my notebook while watching the episode (which I was able to do after clicking “Play” on my DVR). And I loved that so much that I decided to do it again!
